Eye eye, it's very quiet on this thread today!
I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

This may have been my fastest reply to one of these questions ever...and a Doctor Who question at that!

Right I'm going to post the Day 17 question a day early, as I won't be around tomorrow morning......
Nyder Coren-Mitchell here Yes the quiz goes "Only Connect" for one day only! For a STAGGERING 4 points, I want you to tell me what these 3 songs are, and what the connection is. The last piece of music is only a jingle and doesn't form part of the clue haha. Good luck quizzers!!

Same here, then a connection hit me. I'm not sure if it's THE connection but it's a connection.
I’m being extremely clever up here and there’s no one to stand around looking impressed! What’s the point in having you all?

I do not recognise any of those songs.
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

I got the songs easily enough, it's the connection which has me stumped. I can only think of one possible thing, which is very frivolous and no doubt totally wrong.

Whilst you're still pondering over Friday and Saturday's questions, I thought I'd now post Sunday's question.
Can you identify these two warblers from the world of TV's Dr Who??

Friday's answer was PARTNERS IN CRIME
Saturday's songs were:-
TODAY (Talk Talk)
Gonna Make You A STAR (David Essex)
ECHO Beach (Martha and the Muffins)
And the connection is that TODAY, The STAR and The Liverpool (and numerous other places) ECHO are all NEWSPAPERS.
Sunday's answers were FRAZER HINES (singing "Who is Doctor Who") and PETER DAVISON (singing one of his own compositions at an American convention).
Right let me impute those scores .....

Thanks. I was a newsagent back in the 80's and remember the launch of Eddie Shah's newspaper, Today, very well.
