    Default Eurovision 2017

It's that time of year again and the BBC have revealed the songs competing to represent the UK at this years Eurovision Song contest. All songs can be heard on the BBC Eurovison site and amongst them is a song performed by an X Factor contestent while one is co-written by 2013 winner Emmelie de Forest.

I’m being extremely clever up here and there’s no one to stand around looking impressed! What’s the point in having you all?

I heard two of the songs on Ken Bruce's show yesterday. Oh dear, we really don't want to win do we ☹️

No, we don't. It turns out that they are ALL X Factor rejects. (I only remember Danyl) None of them won the competition, yet the BBC expect them to go and win Eurovision? I don't think so.

I'm quite confident the UK will do well this year as there isn't anything calamitous on the horizon to damage our standing in Europe.

I liked last years song but it still failed to pick up the public vote.

I'm half-cynically wondering whether they're thinking "Oh, Alexadra Burke eg., costs money and is too good for this tripe. The BBC doesn't actually want to spend money on Eurovision and end up like Irish TV!"
