It's only the Mondasian Cybermen. Not seen for over 50 years.
I’m being extremely clever up here and there’s no one to stand around looking impressed! What’s the point in having you all?

I love it. NOW I'm excited about the new series!!!!

I must say it's the most excited I have been about a new series since Series 5.
I’m being extremely clever up here and there’s no one to stand around looking impressed! What’s the point in having you all?

Oooh! Looks good. The Cybermen look fantastic!
I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

I hope they kill everyone!
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

Elsewhere on social media, someone has made an interesting observation... ever since Moffat took over the cybermen (or at least one cyberman) have been in episode 12 of every series... and here they are appearing in episode 12 again...

I think that's a basic co-inkydink based on Moffat bringing all the monsters round for tea come the season finale.
So we had Pandorica Opens, Closing Time (Open then Close? Coincidence?), Nightmare In Silver, a cheeky wooden Christmas appearance, Dark Water, uh... Heaven Sent and this one. Moffat likes Cybermen, it's logical.Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

It might be just a coincidence but it still seems that he's gone out of his way to link them to the number 12, combined with the significance of the last appearance of the Mondasian Cybermen. Moffat isn't known for being subtle with his clues.
Well, I guess we'll see on July 1st

Nice theory, but they weren't in Heaven Sent.
I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

I don't normally 'do' spoilers, but since the men from Mondas were all over Twitter earlier in the week I could hardly avoid this one! Surprising, I must admit - I think the original Cybs have a real eerie menace to them, but I'm not sure how much of that is that they are in crackly, grainy, moody black & white. Can they be as successful in colourful HD I wonder? Ah well, at least Nick Briggs will enjoy doing the voices!
It's nice to see one of Capaldi's favourite old monsters coming back - shame it wasn't the Zarbiiiii though!

Anyway, having started a re-watch of Series 9 I'm worried that this is a total bit of mis-direction and it'll be one scene or a flashback or some rubbish. Boo.Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

So yeah, although intended to be released tomorrow. An Australian fan has put an incomplete trailer up online.

This is a fuller and cleaner version of said trailer, with thanks to Duncan for sharing on Facebook...

This doesn't appear to be on youtube yet (presumably will once it's been on BBC) so I'll update the link when I find it.

Pleasingly, Bill already seems very likeable just from that trailer! It's looking good so far...

Yes, I quite like Bill in the trailer. I like the look of what's to come and haven't looked forward to a new series as much for a few years.

This one should hopefully work (it's the same trailer that was on BBC One on Monday during the football).
Also look out for Missy's reaction video

New trailer alert! Watch to the end for something potentially spoilery which may or may not confirm my episode 12 theory...

A spoiler for Capaldi's finale...or just pure speculation?
Radio Times
Sounds intriguing, but whether there's any truth in it is a different matter...

Well they don't film it until July so I guess we're not likely to get any confirmation before then.
