Peter Miles RIP
Peter died earlier this week aged 89. A wonderful man and a brilliant actor.

And the reason why I adopted his character name in the first place was because Nyder was and is one of my all-time favourite Doctor Who characters. Thank you Peter.

Nyder's voice is etched into my brain after all the times I listened to my Genesis of the Daleks tape as a kid.
He was so good at playing evil. Very calm and malevolent!
I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

Although I did have to snigger when someone on Twitter said he was like an evil Charles Hawtrey. Not sure what Peter would have thought of that! But like Si, I also have the album version of Genesis etched into my brain. ... “It’s put away in a safe in Davros’ offissssssssss”.
