To be honest I would have been a little disappointed if Ark or Robots hadn't have won, but I was very happy with the final 5.

I'm glad Robots was the winner out of that final 3 and it is a story that only just sits outside my Top 10. I would have like to see Web of Fear win, but happy that it and Moonbase got some distance in before exiting the game.

I'm glad I didn't have to make the final choice, any of the final 5 would have been a worthy winner. I had a sneaky feeling that Robots would emerge as the winner all along...

It was certainly in my top two - Pyramids being the other, if you're interested.

Pyramids would never win whilst Mr Hart plays the game. It would be interesting to see how far it would have gone without Si going for it.

Of the last five, my order of preference would be:

Gold: Spearhead From Space
Silver: Ark In Space
Bronze: Robots of Death
Runner up: The Moonbase
Also Ran: Web of Fear

Having said that; for me there's very little to choose between Ark and Robots. It's virtually the toss of a coin.
Furthermore; Nothing from my actual Top 5 made it through, and only Spearhead is in my Top 10. Although, both Robots and Ark and definitely in my Top 20.

My choices for best of the series actual made it to the final. But seemed to have lost my winning touch as the games went on after The Robots of Death won! My New Series choices are out of sync too.
So gutted both The Five Doctors AND The Caves of Androzani both didn't make the winning list. Although yes, I was on a hiding to nothing wishing for Keys of Marinus!
Happy The Robots of Death won. If I couldn't have both unqualified Davison stories near the end, then I'm glad Pertwee ran Baker close.
And all it can tell us in the end is what who have played!
Imagine this in a newspaper features? That sort of reach. Even wide open to trolling or malicious sock puppet accounting.

There's been incredible tournaments doing this. Yes, exhilarating to read and watch the post size get less and less. This has been the ultimate extension of how that could possibly wind up being.
