Rate and Discuss: Nikola Tesla's Night of Terror
It is 1903 and on the edge of Niagara Falls, something is wrong at Nikola Tesla’s generator plant, where someone – or something – is sabotaging the maverick inventor’s work.
Has Tesla really received a message from Mars? (Waters of Mars?!?)
And where does his rival, Thomas Edison, fit into these events?
The Doctor and her companions Yaz, Ryan and Graham must join forces with one of history’s greatest minds to save both him and planet Earth.
Electrifying?
Or a drop in the ocean?

Well this one has certainly got everybody talking hasn't it!!!
A few more thoughts - I enjoyed it a lot more than last week. I'd heard of Tesla, but must admit I didn't know he had been quite such a visionary as that; nor did I realise he was closely acquainted with Edison. I'm not convinced Edison's presence really added much to the episode, although perhaps the point was to give us that contrast with Tesla.
Eerie-looking aliens, especially that first 'roof full of red-eyed scorpions' reveal aboard ship - and I gather that underneath the make-up, the Queen was played by Rani from the Sarah Jane Adventures, so that's nice.
All in all, much better than episode 3.

I quite liked it but felt it was a bit by the numbers, if it had been part of season one I would have rated it pretty highly, but twelve seasons in it didn't feel like anything we hadn't seen before. 6.5/10

I'd have liked it more had the scorpions been slightly more impressive in the daylight. Still, a decent action-adventure.
7/10
