Sorry, Wayne I just wasn't paying attention, I meant to deduct a point from Destiny, not add one! I'll adjust the scores to correct it. Destiny is probably my least-liked original series Dalek story, and being from such a generally weak season doesn't do it any favours!

I agree about Destiny, but I think being surrounded by a bunch of weak stories (apart from City of Death) should work in its favour.

Funnily enough, I remember a conversation at school with friends during the broadcast of Destiny, in which we all felt that for a couple of years the series hadn't been as good as it used to be, but even so Destiny was a huge disappointment. Before the final episode even aired, I personally had a feeling which I had never had before, regarding the series...ie that if major changes weren't going to be made soon then the series would be in real danger of cancellation. But Tom was such a major part of the series at the time, and as schoolkids we weren't really aware of production teams etc so we couldn't envisage Tom being replaced and the series carrying on without him (how wrong that prediction was! )

Anyway,the memory of that feeling of gloom has always remained with me any time I've tried to rewatch Destiny, and I don't like that feeling so despite there being other stories equally as poor this season, Destiny still remains near the bottom of the pile for me!
