We now move on to Tom's final season. Not that we knew this to begin with though, and what a big change that would be! If I knew this beforehand, I might not have been tempted away by ITV's glossy alternative, Buck Rogers In The 25th Century, for a while at the start of the season while they were both in direct competition. It was the first time that I could remember making a choice not to watch Doctor Who, as I hadn't been hugely impressed by the previous season. One of the two channels eventually (and temporarily!) changed the broadcast time enabling us to see both series, and some of Full Circle was my first sighting of Doctor Who that year which made it a tough choice in the weeks to follow before the change became permanent after Christmas.
