Last Story Standing - The Gap Years

So the original series is done, and happily the final season was a close-faught affair. Before we move on to the new series, we have the problem of the 8th Doctor and the TVM to deal with...do we just give it a bye and automatically give it a place in grand finale? That would be too easy...! Let's have a little bit of fun with it before moving on to Season 27...this round has basically found me clutching at straws trying to find anything the BBC broadcast in the gap years which was trying to keep the series alive in the public eye. Only material which was freely available to the general public is featured, so no Big Finish or Virgin/BBC novels (as these had to be purchased). Due to it's nature, this round (and this round alone!) will feature material not broadcast on tv. Apologies if I've missed anything obvious from the list!

Will the TVM take it's place in the final, or will we see something from left field taking it's place? Will the 8th Doctor even have a story in the final list?
