To be honest, I've been struggling to maintain much interest in the last couple of seasons, and the next couple aren't particularly appealing either. I feel as if I'm just going through the motions now, the series has just got into a bit of a rut at this point. There are elements and performances that I loved, such as the Cyberman and Bill, but the difference in tone between the two episodes of the season finale were just too jarring for me.

Roll on the Big Finale...

the difference in tone between the two episodes of the season finale were just too jarring for me.

Couldn't agree more. If the two-parters were in the game as separate episodes like they were in all the other rounds until recently, I'd be happy to vote for 'World Enough and Time' over 'Knock Knock'.

It would maybe have been better to have had individual episodes, I was tempted, but it's done now!
