As long as I don't look 50. Whatever that's meant to look like. It's a continuous battle to stay fit and firm in the rain drenched windy cobbled streets of the North.

I missed the bomb episode. I did enjoy Steve and Dev's visit to the golf course with Paul though.
I must admit, just when I think I'm king, I just begin!

Jane Danson is lobbying for Toyah's return.

I say get Toyah Wilcox in to play a white witch who can have a lesbo affair with Beverly Callard and her big eyes.

Harkishin's finest ever acting last night and some great stuff from Deep Throat Deirdre (when she was having a panic attack/gasping for air). Best sitcom on ITV since Duty Free.

    Sunday's episode is a Kirkbride/Ford two-hander!

They're saying it's only the second Corrie 2-hander ever (after that one with Curly and Raquel, among the worst episodes ever) but I'm not convinced.

They're doing a two-hander with the two worst actresses in the show!? They might as well throw in Eileen Derbyshire and go for the hat-trick!

If only it was award-nominated actress Sue Cleaver. They really missed a trick.

Could be something to keep watching it for! It's teetering on the edge of me not bothering at the moment, if it wasn't for Tracy's upcoming court case. I'm not impressed with Sinbad from Brookie being in it.

I have to say, I really, really hate that bloke being in it. I couldn't watch (rubbish that is is) The Royal for him being there-he makes me wanna scream.

As for "courtroom battles in soapland" oi, oi, oi.

p.s. I'm amazed Milky hasn't commented on Deirdre's panic attack from Friday-it was amazing.

I did only mention Wednesday's, not the second Deep Throat Deirdre from Friday. That was too disturbing even for me.

Kirkbride should be doing porn... especially with those nips!

We missed it but I thought Anne Kirk Bride (as it was pronounced on the trailer for ITV's "Who Do You Think You Are" rip off) gave a good performance today.

    "Tracy always blew too hard!"

Loved Blanche's "Never trust anyone in a wig" line. That'll be her and Emily, then... and about half the bloody street.

It was Bill Roache's best performance for about ten years as well.

The Morton's should all be shot.

Dev's bald spot made a stunning appearance last night.

The Mortons should be boiled in oil.

I only saw about half a minute of last night's, and thought the exact same thing.

    ITV the suspenders?

    Coronation Street actor suspended

Bruce Jones, who plays Les Battersby in Coronation Street, has been suspended over allegations that he insulted fans during a drunken trip to a restaurant. The actor has been asked to stay away from filming pending an investigation.

The News of the World claimed Jones, 54, swore and discussed the outcome of Tracy Barlow's murder trial, currently a major plot in the long-running show.

Jones "denies the allegations and the context of the comments", a statement on the programme's website said. It added that he was "currently taking legal advice about the newspaper article", which referred to events at the Old Rectory restaurant in Stockport.

A spokeswoman for ITV said the article "alleged that Mr Jones had got drunk while with an undercover reporter and made inappropriate comments in a public place. ITV takes these allegations very seriously and will be looking into them further," she added.

The start of the trial, a storyline which was played out during Monday evening's double bill, earned an audience of 10.2m for the first episode and 10.7m for the second.

This compared to 11.1m and 8.3m viewers for the equivalent editions a week earlier.

So... last night's Corrie... wasn't it? Mmm?

An estimated 12.6 million viewers saw Coronation Street character Tracy Barlow jailed for murder, according to overnight ratings. Two separate endings had been recorded to keep fans guessing.

The trial was the culmination of a long-running storyline in which Tracy, played by actress Kate Ford, killed her boyfriend Charlie with an ornament. Ratings peaked at the start of Monday's second episode, when the guilty verdict and life sentence were delivered. An average of 11.3 million people tuned in for the first programme, at 1930 GMT.

At the end of the episode, the National Grid saw an electricity surge of 1,600 megawatts - equivalent to 650,000 kettles being boiled at the same time. An average of 11.8 million then watched the second instalment of the night's double bill. The final scenes involving Kate Ford, who joined the long-running show in 2002, will be broadcast on Sunday.
Pip met her on a train journey to Manchester once. Infact, only on Sunday I was on a similar journey, and Helen Horse Face Gail Platt Worth was further down the carriage. I hope they gave her first class treatment and got a bail of hay for her.

I'm glad she's gone, i was sick of her by the end.
But even so, it's one less reason to watch Corrie now that the trial is over.......
Leanne stitching up Liam for 150 was good, though.

The "alternative ending" pics are the funniest thing I've seen all year. Made it look like Kate Ford has won the lottery:

Peak of 13 million viewers last night proves that the UK public are panto crazy!

Why look at pictures when you can watch both endings?
