Young children as companions or as the Doctor's groupies
i hate "meant to be real world" non-superpowered children as key characters in sci fi or wartime stories and thankfully there was no Young Amelias in Classic Who.
One WWII set novel has an 11 year old as a leading figure in a cell of the Norwegian Resistance. The movie version of it, did not.
So, when will George S. Patton and Dwight D. Eisenhower be sending the ones in this photograph, men and materials?
