It was beautifully filmed. Great acting. Intriguing premise. Would have marked it higher than 7 but that ending could have been saw from space!
Massively appreciate the fact no two episodes have been the same. Is this the closest we've come to a Doctor Who Anthology series?

Really don't know what to make of that one. Marvellously atmospheric in the first half, but there's so much in the story that's left unexplained or contradicted, one wonders whether there's things happening later in the series: is the Mad Jack mentioned in the fairy ring the same character as the prime minister, if not, how are they linked? what is a fairy ring anyway? who's the old woman who's 73 yards away, and what's she whispering to people? why is her whispering not heard at the start? I gather she had a scar put on by the makeup people, so why did we not see it? how and why was history altered at the end? does this mean that ap Gwylliam (sp?) will now be blowing the world up anyway now that the fairy ring wasn't broken (If so, a complete waste of time and effort that was!)?
I may have to wait and see how the series pans out before I make a proper decision.

A good non-episode.
Loads of things happened that then don't matter... Or so it seems. Nothing is explained & it turns out nothing happened. The only thing that came out of it is the slight foreknowledge/intuition by Ruby to warn the Doctor not to disturb the 'fairy ring' (that still sounds like a eupheism).
Ruby is subjected to piss taking from the locals when she arrives bedraggled with no simpathy for her predicament, no concern that she might have been the victim of foul play, nothing. Really painting the Welsh in a good light this, uncaring b@*tards!
Ruby's mum disowns with no explination, Also seperating Ruby from her Grandmother for no reason. Grandmother seems to go along with it having not had an experiance with the Old Woman.
Kate L-S then has an encounter with the Old Woman from 73 yards away...completely undermining the whole concept of the Old Wmoan keeping her distance! WTF!
And then we end with the obligatory Doctor Who reset of time.
Not good enough. I wanted to like this one alot, but it's probably going to be one of those that will grow on me over time rather than last weeks which was really rather good and which shows up the rest of the series so far.
