Doctor Who's staying out for the summer...
posted Wednesday 21st May 2008 at 21:34 by Pip
We're well into series four now on BBC1, and in early July you'll have to say goodbye to your favourite show for six months - but don't despair, because PS Audios will help plug the gap! We've got a whole season of audio adventures starring our Doctor (Paul Monk), Nick (Dave Tudor), Rob (Steve Alexander) and new companion Ed Bradley (Martin Penny) for you to enjoy - all written, produced and starring members of our forum! The season shapes up like this (dates are tentative):
Heart Of The Haniad by Steve Alexander (12-19 July)
Heist! by Simon Hart (26 July - 2 August)
The Paradise Machine by Martin Penny (9-16 August)
These audios will be available to forum members on CD (with glorious artwork) for a limited time in support of our chosen charity, Barnardos. Each story will be accompanied by some special extras, including interviews, deleted scenes and out-takes, so the discs will be fit to burst with goodies.
Finally, believe it or not, we're already busy planning another triple whammy of adventures for the winter, featuring brand new writers and cast members! So stay tuned...

Apologies Re: Forum Downtime

Apologies for the forum downtime this evening everyone, I've spent the evening tinkering away (I need a beer!). I can't tell for sure that the problem has been fixed, but things appear to be running smoother at the moment. Please let us know of your experience tomorrow, although just the one post will do! Pip x
All Quiet On The Western Front ...
posted Wednesday 20th February 2008 at 16:11 by Pip
Hello there. Although it's been as busy as ever on the forum, you might have noticed a lack of activity here at the PS website. Well, not to worry, our behind-the-scenes staff are working hard on a new series of Doctor Who audio adventures, with the first story in the forthcoming season 'Heist!' nearing completion. The first recording session is due to take place on April 12th in Sawbridgeworth, with brand new recording equipment and some brand new acting talent! Also coming soon is a second run of Brief Encounters, short stories featuring characters from the Whoniverse, so look out for that in the spring. Bye for now!
Time travel has its Consequences...
posted Sunday 6th January 2008 at 02:26 by Pip
Happy New Year! We hope 2008 is better than a night of passion with Johnny Depp/Girls Aloud (delete as applicable). Now, onto business. We're very proud to present you with a little New Year treat tomorrow on Planet Skaro - Consequences, a very special minisode from Planet Skaro's series of Doctor Who audio dramas. Consequences is a single scene written & produced by forum member Simon Hart, featuring the Doctor (Paul Monk) and Nick (Dave Tudor). The piece chronologically takes place between the fourth and fifth PS audio adventures, Magical History Tour and Dr Who And The Christmas Gnomes - both readily available to download from the PS website! We think Paul and Dave turn out perhaps their finest performances yet, in a uniformly superb script from Simon Hart. We hope you'll enjoy it!
Also released on Monday is the massively entertaining audio documentary Making Gnomes, presented by Vera Christmas! This 40-minute show takes a look at the production of our Christmas story 'The Christmas Gnomes', features interviews with the cast and crew, a special selection of out-takes and much more! You won't want to miss it!
